Twelve months, fully funded, based in Nairobi with travel across the region. For people under 35 already working on climate, not people who want to start. We fund about fifteen people a year. Last year we had 2,300 applications, so please read the eligibility before you spend a day on the form.

East Africa only for this one, sorry. We are asked this often enough that we are looking at it for 2029.

I reached the final round in 2025 and did not get it. Happy to say what I learned. The written task matters far more than the CV. They gave us a real policy problem and 48 hours.

Same experience. Answer the question they asked, not the one you wish they had asked. Two of the people in my group wrote beautiful essays about something adjacent and both were cut.
