Save your answers in your own document, not only in the form. Forms time out, browsers crash, and losing two hours of writing has made people give up entirely.

Start the documents before the essay. References, transcripts and proof of status are the things that take weeks and are outside your control. The writing is the part you can do in a hurry; the paperwork is not.
