Answer the question they asked, not the one you prepared for. Reviewers read hundreds of these and a beautiful answer to a different question is the easiest kind to put down.

Find out what they take. Equity, a fee, a revenue share or nothing at all, and on what terms. A programme that will not say plainly is telling you something.

Talk to someone from a previous cohort before you accept. Not the one they introduce you to. Find your own.
